| In the process of writing Chinese as a foreign language,foreign students often fail to express their ideas and repeat the same word or sentence many times,which leads to incoherent cohesion of the text and incoherent sentences.One of the reasons for this phenomenon is the improper use of ellipsis.Based on the method of error analysis and the theory of text linguistics,this paper selects and classifies the ellipsis errors in 165 middle and advanced stage Vietnamese students’ compositions,makes statistics on the overall use of ellipsis means of Vietnamese students,probes into the causes of ellipsis errors in Chinese writing of Vietnamese students,and puts forward some countermeasures.The first chapter is the introduction,which includes three parts: the research background and the reason of topic selection,the research status and development trends at home and abroad,the source of corpus and explanation.The second chapter is the main content of this paper,which classifies and discusses the ellipsis errors in 165 middle and advanced stage Vietnamese students’ compositions,and makes statistics on the ellipsis errors of foreign students;The third chapter analyzes the influencing factors of omission errors in Vietnamese students’ Chinese writing;the fourth chapter puts forward relevant teaching suggestions,in order to play a reference role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Vietnam in the future. |
