The Study On "Yiyue" Exegetical Content In Duan Yucai’s Annotation On Shuowenjiezi

As the peak of Shuowen’s study in Qing Dynasty,Duan Yucai’s Annotation on Shuowenjiezi has a deep and detailed study on many exegetical terms in Shuowen jiezi."Yiyue",as an exegetic term in Shuowen that can explain glyph,pronunciation and word meaning,is naturally a key research content.Duan’s explanation of the term "Yiyue" is all over the book.Its research is not limited to the explanation of the content and function of "Yiyue",the relevant knowledge of language and characters derived from it is also very rich.Therefore,we mainly classify and induce these knowledge by the numbers,and check the research results against the other contemporary scholars,so as to get a more complete theory,which can also confirm the gains and losses of Annotation on Shuowenjiezi.Correctly understanding and grasping Duan’s research of "Yiyue",it is not only a supplement to the study of Shuowen,but also a better understanding of Duan Yucai’s view of language and the theoretical value of his work.The whole paper includes four parts except introduction and conclusion:The first part introduces the basic situation of "Yiyue" in Duan’s annotation,counts the number of "Yiyue" in these two books and also gives a brief example of Duan’s explanation of "Yiyue" and summarizes its characteristics.The second part summarizes Duan’s overview of the term "Yiyue".Through the analysis of it’s interpretation of the function,content,use and non use reasons of "Yiyue",it preliminary shows the basic situation of Duan’s exegesis of "Yiyue".The third part discusses the annotation on the explanation of the term "Yiyue" in detail.Starting from the three aspects of glyph,pronunciation and word meaning,it further classifies the annotation content,and then systematically sums up the content of Duan’s explanation work under "Yiyue".The fourth part investigates the revision of the term "Yiyue" in Duan’annotation.firstly,we found Duan’s work mainly conclude addition,deletion,modification and adjustment.Then we consult references and other people’s opinions to analyze and demonstrate this part of the content.Finally,we summarizes the methods and achievements of Duan’s collation of "Yiyue".
