Gaoquan Xinggan(1633~1695),with a vulgar surname Lin,named Xinggang, and named Gaoquan,is an important monk of the Huangbo Sect of Linji Sect in Fujian at the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in China. On the occasion of the revolution,he traveled to Japan on June 16 th in the eighteenth year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty and the first year of Nikuanwen(1661).He inherited the line of Yuan Longqi and lived in Wanfu Temple in Huangbo Mountain,Japan. He was good at calligraphy and painting, and also good at poetry and verse. He was especially good at writing. There was a saying of "Shinanyuan,Wen Gaoquan".He was always with the veterans of the vassal and the shogunate. He was even received by the Emperor Taishang. He was given the title of Dayuan Guanghui Guoshi..However,the research on Gao Quan in the domestic academic circles is still weak. Therefore, this article focuses on the foreign literature "The Complete Works of Gaoquan",and conducts research on three aspects:Gaoquan Xinghan’s life, artistic thoughts and poetry style.Gao Quanxing was born at the end of the Ming Dynasty and was longer than the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. At this time, the situation was turbulent, and the shilin fleeing from Zen,Wen Zeguang was in the meditation forest;Fujian Suxing Buddhism, the scholar Nazi frequently met,the Confucianism and Buddhism were integrated, and there was a tradition of going to Japan for business.Such a combination of causes and conditions has contributed to the high-spring nature to travel to Japan to propagate the Dharma. He had lost his father since childhood and supported Huangbo Zen Temple;at the age of 30,he traveled to Japan and lived in the six temples since then.He eventually succeeded the fifth generation of abbot of the Japanese Amur sect.He had a profound influence on Japanese Buddhism, literature and even Confucian poetry..Since traveling to Japan, due to Japanese elegant literature,in response to the need for propaganda,Gao Quanxing has formed a unique concept of art and literature.First of all,he fully inherited the "literal Zen" tradition of Eastern Buddhism, and extended it to "Han Mo Zen",which laid the Zen basis for Huang Bozong’s art creation.Secondly,he inherited the poetry theory of Yuan Longqi from Xuyin, and focused on constructing a poetic and monk pedigree centered on the Three Saints of Tiantai. He also highly respected the traditions of foreign poetry and prose of Eastern Church, such as Tao Yuanming,Xie Lingyun,Li Bai,Bai Juyi,Su Shi and even Bai Yuchan.;It also constructed a poetry evaluation standard based on "morality",and emphasized the immortal life value of poetry;and centered on "wordless poetry",advocated the creation concept of no dwelling, unintentional, and self-adjustment,and opposed to painful chanting.Thirdly, based on the fusion of "Han Mo Zen" Zen and art,his art thoughts are also quite fruitful. From the perspective of comprehensive drama, calligraphy, and painting,he upholds the subjectivity of Zen masters and emphasizes that life is like a dream. The sense of emptiness is obsessed with entrusting the aesthetic realm to the author’s moral cultivation. It can be said that Gao Quan Xinggan’s art thought inherited the fine traditions of Chinese Buddhism and Huang Bozong art thought in the late Ming Dynasty, combined with his own long-term innovations, and was quite successful among Japanese monks in the early Qing Dynasty. This laid a solid theoretical foundation for the all-round development of art and literature creation.Gao Quanxing has created a huge number of poems, more than 3,100,with rich themes and diverse poems, including gifts, chanting history, chanting things, traveling, landscapes and other topics;ancient style, rhythmic poems, quatrains and even six characters All kinds of bodies. But this article mainly discusses the writing characteristics of its poems. On the whole, his poetry writing should have three most distinctive aspects, namely, his imagination of Japan before his departure, his description of Japanese scenery after his departure, the remembrance of his homeland and his homeland, and the use of poetry to discuss Zen.
