Documentary "Coal And Basketball"

Taking the basketball match of National Day Cup held in Shuiyu Coal Mine in 2020 as the background,this film interviewed three main characters,and intentionally found personnel of different occupations in the well and underground.On the well is Mr.Guo haiqian,head of Physical Education Department of Shuiyu Coal Mine school,and Dong Pengyue of wellhead blanking group is responsible for material transportation,while on the underground is Xue Weiwei,member of drilling team.The vertical career choice from the well to the underground,striving to show a more comprehensive and three-dimensional coal mine style.They are sportsmen on the basketball court.They are workers fighting for life when they wear work clothes under the mine.When it comes to coal mines,most of the outside world will think of the word "coal boss".This stereotype limits the outside world’s specific understanding of Shanxi coal miners.Compared with the deep-rooted image of "Shanxi coal boss" in people’s hearts,the image of ordinary coal miners is too single.This film tries to break people’s misunderstanding of coal miners by showing their different images in work and sports.This documentary focuses on the description and characterization of the characters,focusing on the details,plots and stories of the life and work of ordinary coal miners,showing their resistance,love and yearning for life.
