Attention is the basis and key of children’s cognitive development,and family socioeconomic status has a profound impact on children’s cognitive development.Children in the environment of low family socioeconomic status for a long time are generally at risk in attention development level and other cognitive abilities.The current study first examined whether there were differences in attention levels between children of high and low socioeconomic status.A total of 156 children aged 10-12 years were selected as the research subjects by using the objective family socioeconomic status questionnaire.81 children in the high socioeconomic status group and 75 children in the low socioeconomic status group were used to test the efficiency of attention network,and to investigate the influence of different socioeconomic status on the efficiency of children’s attention network.The results show that there are significant differences between the vigilance network and the executive control network between the children of high and low socioeconomic status in the attention network test,and the children of low socioeconomic status are significantly lower than those of high socioeconomic status.On the basis of exploring the influence of family socioeconomic status on children’s attention level,the intervention effect of cognitive training on children with high and low family socioeconomic status was further explored.By 2(family socioeconomic status: high,low)x 2(groups: experimental group,control group)x 2(test stage: pre-test,post-test)of mixed experimental design,the independent variable is family socioeconomic status,the dependent variable is attention network testing.Children of high and low socioeconomic status were given 12-day cognitive training,while the control group received sand painting training.Children of high and low socioeconomic status were given 12-day cognitive training,while the control group received sand painting training.The pre and post-test tasks included attention network test,bivalent effect task and change detection task.The results showed that children of high and low socioeconomic status had different effects on improving attention,switching ability and working memory ability through cognitive training.Compared with children of high socioeconomic status,children of low socioeconomic status showed better improvement effect on attention network test,bivalent effect task and change detection task.The main conclusions of the present study are as follows: the attention network efficiency of children with low socioeconomic status is lower than children with high socioeconomic status;Cognitive training can improve the attention of children of low socioeconomic status,and can transfer to switching ability and working memory,and even close to the development level of children of high socioeconomic status.
