A Report On The Translation Of Advanced Oxidation Processes For Wastewater Treatment:Emerging Green Chemical Technology(Excerpt)

The thesis is presented in the form of report and mainly includes four parts,including task description,process description,case analysis and conclusion.The translation material is excerpted from a book called Advanced Oxidation Processes for Wastewater Treatment: Emerging Green Chemical Technology which introduces the fundamentals and applications of all Advanced Oxidation Processes(hereinafter referred to as “AOPs”).Under the instruction of Communicative Translation Theory,the translator applied relevant translation techniques including addition,omission,conversion and inversion to the translation and overcame difficulties met in the process.Through the translation practice,the translator’s understanding of Communicative Translation Theory has been deepened,and her ability to analyze and overcome difficulties has been improved.All these lay a solid foundation for her future translation practice.
