The "Red culture" is an important ideologies which has a solid mass base andwidely accepted. It reflecting the positive, energetic and enterprising spirit, reflecting theadvanced nature of Marxism. Inherit and carry forward the " red culture " is of greatsignificance for China’s construction of socialist core value system and promote socialistcultural harmony."Xibaipo Spirit" red culture as the core of Hebei Province, has a rich resources. In theissue, the spirit of patriotism, national spirit and the spirit of the times are combined withgraphic design promotion around the theme of Hebei "red culture". The special visuallanguage which is idiomatic in the younger generation was used to promote the patriotismred culture. In this design, Hebei "red spirit" was reflected with an easy to use, stylish andpleasant way, old-fashioned preaching mode was refrained; pay more attention on thepsychological characteristics of the young generation. In the design process, the original"red culture" symbol of vitality and Hebei local characteristics were preserved. Theapplication expression and design tools used in contemporary design of the "red culture"symbolic was explored.
