| Weiyuan County is located in the central part of Gansu Province and belongs to Dingxi City,Gansu Province.The Weiyuan dialect belongs to two areas.The one to the east of the county seat belongs to the small area of the Weihe River Basin,the one to the west of the county seat belongs to the small area of the Taohe River Basin,and the dialect of Huichuan Town in Weiyuan belongs to the small area of Taohe River Basin in the Longzhong area of the Central Plains Mandarin.This article takes the phonetics of Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)as the research object.The research content mainly includes the phonology,homonyms,coordinating relations of consonants,vowels and tones,phonological changes,synchronic comparison and diachronic comparison of Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect.Through the research on the phonetic system of Weiyuan(Hui chuan Town)dialect,we can systematically show the phonetic characteristics of Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect,and provide materials that can be used for reference for further research on Weiyuan dialect.Based on field investigations,this paper studies the phonetics of the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect,describes the consonants,vowels and tones of the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect,and explains its phonetic values,including 25 initials(including zero initials),32 vowels and 3 monocharacter tones.After sorting out the homophonic vocabulary of the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect,and on this basis,it draws the table of consonants,vowels and tones of the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect,and sums up the rules of the consonants and vowels coordination of the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect.Phonetic changes mainly include two-character concatenation,concatenation of grammatical function words,literary and colloquial pronunciation,and Erhua.Among them,there are altogether 11 continuums of two-character groups.The literary and white variants are divided into three types:consonant variants,vowel variants,and phonological variants.There are 18 Erhua rhymes.In addition,Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect also has sound changes such as consonance,assimilation and alienation.Through a synchronic comparison between the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect and the Beijing accent,the corresponding laws of the two are summarized.The Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect has 25 initials,3 more initials(v,(?),(?))than Beijing accent,among them,(?)initials and n initials are complementary,n initials spelled with Hongyin,(?)initials spelled with Xiyin;v initials、(?)initials and(?)initials are complementary,v initials spelled with Hekouhu,(?)initials spelled with Kaikouhu,(?)initials spelled with Qichihu and Cuokouhu.In terms of vowels,the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect has 32 vowels,which is 7 fewer vowels than the Beijing sound.Among them,o vowels and(?)vowels are both pronounced(?)vowels in the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect,ε vowels and ai vowels are both pronounced ε vowels in the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect.The nasal tail vowels and the back nasal tail vowels in Beijing accent are combined into one group vowels((?))in the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect.In terms of vowels,the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect has three monocharacter tones.The tones are different from Beijing dialect.In the tonal category,Yinping and Yangping are merged,and the other tones are the same as Beijing dialect,and there is no Rusheng.By comparing the Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect with the middle and ancient pronunciations over time,comparing the three aspects of consonants,vowels and tones,the evolution law of Weiyuan(Huichuan Town)dialect is summarized,and its phonetic characteristics are revealed.Voiced words are read unvoiced(14%of full voiced initials are pronounced with aspirated sounds),no sharp group,confluence of middle and ancient ni letters and lai letters,Shen,Zhen and Zeng,Geng and Tong Shusheng rhyme confluence,ming letters of Xieshe(Hekou)and Zhishe(Kaikou)read i(?)rhyme.Flat sound regardless of yin and yang,Shangsheng in full voiced fall into Qusheng,Rusheng falls into the flat sound.In addition,this article also sorts out the exception characters that do not conform to the law of phonetic evolution from three aspects of consonants,rhymes and tones,and tries to analyze the causes of the exception characters from five aspects. |
