| The progress in Internet technology has incubated the emergence of the new communication media of bullet screens.Since the bullet screen is simple and funny by nature,it is increasingly favored by more and more video users.The animation culture,which is closely related to the bullet screen culture,has become quite a hit,thereby triggering a heated debate on the rise of Chinese animations.The new perspective of gamified communication is in line with the characteristics of bullet screen communication,hence attracting increasing concern from researchers.This study selects the Bilibili video platform characterized by animations and bullet screens and takes the bullet screens in domestic animation films as the research sample.The thesis aims to discover the practical value of mass communication game theories and enrich relevant studies on gamified communication.The thesis also discusses the rationality of mass communication game theories and the practical significance of bullet screen communication in animation films,thereby providing a new line of thinking for the communication of domestic animation films.Adopting literature review,content analysis and word frequency analysis methods,the thesis uses web crawling technology and Python language to crawl data and analyze the bullet screen texts of four representative Chinese animation films on the Bilibili video platform.After establishing an indicator system,the thesis conducts a statistical analysis of sample data such as the time trends of bullet screens,comment frequency,ranking of users in bullet screen number,high-frequency words at bullet screen peaks,and emotional tendency.The research results demonstrate three major characteristics of bullet screen communication:Firstly,for participatory communication,users are driven by fun and participate actively through a simple process.Secondly,for immersive communication,users entertain themselves,play virtual games,and immerse themselves in the plot.Thirdly,emotional communication features interaction across time and space,strong emotional expression,and weak connections in relationships.However,currently,the bullet screen communication of Chinese animation films are still confronted with various problems such as impediment in the sharing section of effective communication,ignoring data analysis and textual deconstruction values,lack of user viscosity,and short duration of topics,thus hindering the effective use of bullet screen communication and the communication development of domestic animation films.Targeting these problems,the thesis proposes countermeasures in the following three aspects:constructing communication means,exploring data and textual values,and establishing communication and interaction channels,thereby further digging into the value of bullet screen communication.By studying the content and communication characteristics of bullet screens and understanding people’s attitudes and views toward Chinese animations,this thesis provides useful inspiration for the communication development of Chinese animation film undertakings. |
