| Mastering Chinese·Reading and Writing(Volume 1-6)highlight the chunks idea,which run through textbooks,so we collect exhaustive statistics on the chunks that appear in sections of the functional expression and texts.We systematically analyze aspects of quantity and type of chunks,the interpretation of chunks and the setting of chunks exercises,generalizing the characteristics of the chunks layout in the textbook.At last,we reflects on whether the teaching materials should embody the idea and principle of chunks compilation.This thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the thesis,domestic and foreign research status,research objects,research idea and research methods.The second chapter combs the Chinese chunks theory from three aspects: the quality and classification of Chinese chunks,the theoretical and practical significance of chunks teaching methods.On this basis,combined with the characteristics of the selected textbooks and research needs,the definition and classification of the chunks on which this thesis is based is determined.The third chapter mainly talks about the quantity and type of chunks in textbooks Mastering Chinese·Reading and Writing.The thesis analyzes and discusses the rationality of the quantity and type arrangement which exists in textbooks.It is found that the quantity of chunks included in the textbook is considerable,and the various types of chunks are arranged reasonably.The idea of chunks compilation has been fully embodied.The fourth chapter analyzed scientifically the setting of chunks annotations and exercises in the textbook.It is found that the scientificity of chunks interpretation is mainly reflected in the aspects: the interpretation language changes with the learning stage and has a hierarchical nature;interpretation methods are diverse;the paraphrases of most chunks are provided with examples to facilitate the understanding of learners;paraphrasing,different mark forms are used to strengthen learners’ cognitive level.However,its limitations are: the interpretation of some chunks is lagging,incomplete and inappropriate;mixing various chunks for annotation is not conducive to learners to master them systematically and methodically.The scientificity of the chunks exercises is mainly manifested as: the amount of questions is moderate and the distribution is balanced;the placement of exercises is reasonably arranged,scattered exercises and concentrated exercises complement each other,and both in-class exercises and extra-curricular exercises are taken care of;the exercise material is systematic;the exercises are mostly based on pictures that are practical,fit well with the chunks under investigation,and have a strong interest;the type of questions should be abundant and based on communicative exercises,close to the actual life of learners;the chunks writing exercises run through the whole textbooks.The five chapter summarizes and reflects on how reading and writing textbooks in the fieled of teaching Chinese as a second language can embody the idea of chunks compilation.It also summarizes and reflects on how to use the textbook Mastering Chinese·Reading and Writing from the perspective of Chinese teachers. |
