A Study Of Zhu Zhen’s Image-Number Yi-ology

The Song Dynasty is a peak of the development of the Yi-ology in China.There are many Yi scholars and works.It can be said that the Song Dynasty is an era that can not be ignored to study the history of the Yi-ology.What is more noteworthy is that the Song Dynasty not only inherited the Yi-ology of Wei-Jin period and Sui-Tang period,but also made a breakthrough in the Yi-ology of image-numberology from Han Dynasty.Throughout the development of image-numberology in Song Dynasty,there is a key period,that is,the period of alternation between the two Song dynasties.In the Northern Song Dynasty,although such a great master as Shao Yong was born,the Yi Theorists represented by Hu Yuan,Wang Anshi,Cheng Hao,Cheng Yi and Su Shi grasped the main artery of the development of Yi-ology.However,after Emperor Gaozong of Song Dynasty was forced to establish Southern Song Dynasty,which dwelt in South of China,the integration of Yi-ology of Yili and Yi-ology of Xiangshu began to appear in the development of Yi-ology.Zhu Zhen,a Yi scholar in the early Southern Song Dynasty,was favored by the rulers,and the traditional Yi-ology of image and number got a chance of development again.His book " Yi Zhuan of Hanshang" has carried on the summary and development of the image number theory since the Han Dynasty.Until the time of Zhu Xi,it was confirmed that Yi-ology of Yili should also adopt the theory of Yi-ology of Xiangshu.The development of Yi-ology showed a new era characteristics.This paper mainly discusses the Yi-ology of Xiang Shu in the early Southern Song Dynasty and the general situation of Zhu Zhen,a representative Yi scholar.In the first chapter,the background of Zhu Zhen’s time and the origin of his thought of Yi-ology of Xiang Shu are expounded;meanwhile,the creative background and motivation of his work " Yi Zhuan of Hanshang" are explored.In the second chapter,this chapter mainly discusses Zhu Zhen’s thought of Yi-ology of Xiang Shu.Through the core thought of Zhu Zhen’s thought of Yi-ology-Guabian thought,combined with the predecessors and the comparison with his contemporaries’ thought of Yi-ology,this paper studies Zhu Zhen’s thought of Yi-ology of Xiang Shu.The third chapter expounds Zhu Zhen’s achievements in theory.This chapter mainly introduces Zhu Zhen’s thoughts with strong characteristics of Yi-ology by inheriting and developing the thoughts of Cheng Hao,Cheng Yi and Zhang Zai.In the fourth chapter,while demonstrating Zhu Zhen’s position in the history of Yi-ology,this chapter also discusses the development trend of Xiang Shu Yi-ology in the Southern Song Dynasty and explores the reasons for the decline of Xiang Shu Yi-ology after the Southern Song Dynasty.The study of Zhu Zhen and the Yi-ology of Xiang Shu in the early years of the Southern Song Dynasty is not only a good supplement to the ideological history of the Song Dynasty,but also an in-depth study of the history of the Yi-ology itself,which has certain research value.
