The Cultural Evolution Of “Gnyn” Worship In The History Of Thebo Area

As a social collective representation which passed down to now in Tibetan area,the worship of "Gnyn" god has undergone the evolution from primitive belief to Bon religion and then to Tibetan Buddhism.It has the characteristics of multicultural mixture and presents the multicultural form in the ceremony.The unique human geography of the Thebo region has kept this ritual activity intact until now.In this paper,through the way of field investigation corresponds to literature data of the "Gnyn" god worship ceremony in Thebo region,the full text is divided into four chapters:historical origin,ceremony and content,culture interpretation,inheritance and reflection of "Gnyn" god worship ceremony in Thebo region,which explain the cultural evolution of "Gnyn" god worship ceremony in different historical periods,the development grain,the ceremony program,the cultural information,the basic functions,the inheritance and so on within the region.The first chapter analyzes the origin of "Gnyn" god worship,explore and explain the origin of "Gnyn" god and the meaning of the name by combing literature records and field interviews.The longitudinal historical axis is used as the main line to present the evolution of mutual absorption and adjustment between this sacrificial culture and the mainstream culture in different historical periods.The second chapter is dependent on the view of the universe(thought),life etiquette(practice),social organizations(organization)of Thebo people which is complementary to the "Gnyn" god worship,presents the cultural evolution of the specific program of the "Gnyn" god worship ceremony in the historical development so as to further analyze and discuss the law and characteristics of the cultural evolution of the worship ceremony.The third chapter interprets the cultural connotation behind the "Gnyn" god worship ceremony as an important content.The basic clue is the influence of the worshipful culture on local folk culture and the functions on psychological,social and cultural.The influence of the evolution of the sacrificial culture on the cultural evolution of other local fields is combs,and the multi-cross effect of the worshipful culture is analyzed.The fourth chapter reflects on the inheritance of the worshipful culture,and puts forward some personal opinions on its protection and inheritance from the current situation of the cultural phenomenon of the worship of "Gnyn" god.
