Objective:To explore the storage function, operation and processing function characteristics of visuospatial working memory of middle-aged and elderly Dancesport exercisers, verify whether middle-aged and elderly Dancesport exercisers have advantages in visuospatial working memory, and explore the brain activation mechanism of their advantages.Method :Research use questionnaire survey and the related questions to assess selected elderly sports dance group of 18 people,no physical exercise habit in the control group 18 elderly people as research subjects, using the visual spatial working memory task, mental rotation tasks respectively tests of two groups had no visual spatial working memory storage and operation processing functions, using fNIRS monitor tasks at the same time the prefrontal cortex during brain activities associated with working memory.Results:(1)In the interference task, the behavioral index: the accuracy of the Dancesport group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the reaction time was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.001).(2)Brain activation level: the concentration signals of Oxy-Hb in left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe(L-DLPFC)channel 19(P<0.05)and right dorsolateral prefrontal lobe(R-DLPFC)channel 20(P<0.05)in the Dancesport group were significantly higher than those in the control group.(3)In the mental rotation task, the behavioral index:the accuracy of the Dancesport group was not significantly different from that of the control group(P > 0.05),but the response time was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.001).(4)Brain activation level: the concentration signals of Oxy-Hb in middle dorsolateral prefrontal lobe(M-DLPFC)channel 18(P<0.05),right dorsolateral prefrontal lobe(R-DLPFC)channel 20(P<0.05),left ventrolateral prefrontal lobe(L-VLPFC)channel 16(P<0.05),and right ventrolateral prefrontal lobe(R-VLPFC)channel 17(P<0.05)in the Dancesport group were significantly higher than those in the control group.Conclusion:(1)The visuospatial working memory of middle-aged and elderly Dancesport exercisers has the advantage of strong anti-interference ability of storage function, which is embodied in higher accuracy and faster response in behavioral aspect. The brain mechanism behind its dominant characteristic is higher activation of Oxy-Hb concentration signals in bilateral dorsolateral prefrontal lobes(DLPFC).(2)The visuospatial working memory of middle-aged and elderly Dancesport exercisers has the advantage of strong operational processing function, which is embodied in faster reaction speed in behavioral aspect. The brain mechanism behind the dominant characteristics was higher activation of Oxy-Hb concentration signals in the right dorsolateral prefrontal lobe(R-DLPFC),middle dorsolateral prefrontal lobe(M-DLPFC),and left and right ventrolateral prefrontal lobe(VLPFC).
