| “Harbin Daily” and “Heilongjiang Daily” are both important media in modern Harbin.They contain a great deal of music-related text and photographic history,and their coverage of the musical exchanges between China and the Soviet Union in the1950 s is relatively detailed.“Harbin Daily” was launched on 25 November 1945,and was the earliest city organ of our Party in a megacity after the victory of the war.Its experience has been a complex one,with multiple stopping publication and resuming publication.After several twists and turns,it has developed and changed in a very unusual way,and it not only contains a rich cultural connotation of the newspaper industry,but also has an important historical significance and value of historical materials.“Heilongjiang Daily”,an organ of the Heilongjiang Provincial Work Committee of the Communist Party of China,was founded on 1 December 1945.Despite the major changes in the administrative divisions of the Heilongjiang region during its early years,“Heilongjiang Daily” stood firm and developed steadily.In the course of its development,the content of the paper has been constantly changing into something more suitable for ordinary people to read.Its concrete manifestation is the popularization of writing language,as well as politics and law,culture and education,science and technology and literature and art and many other classifications.In short,Heilongjiang Daily is a comprehensive and local newspaper with a wide coverage.In this paper,historical materials on Soviet-Chinese musical exchange in “Harbin Daily” and “Heilongjiang Daily” during the period 1947-1962 are selected for study,and the historical materials published in them are systematically collected,and statistical methods are applied to collate,classify and analyse them.This will provide a clear understanding of the state of musical exchange between the two countries in the Harbin area at the time,in order to explore their cultural value and social impact.This paper consists of four parts.The first part is the introductory part,which introduces the author’s reason for choosing the topic,the research method,as well as the current situation and analysis of the research on this topic at home and abroad,and other basic views.The second part is the first chapter,which begins with an account of the history of the founding of “Harbin Daily” and “Heilongjiang Daily”,followed by a description of the existence of the historical material in them.Finally,from a horizontal point of view of the collected newspapers published in the historical data of Soviet-Chinese music exchange to sort out.These contents mainly include the events of music performances in the celebration,the music groups in the Soviet Union,and the performances of Chinese music groups.Through sorting out the music historical materials in the newspaper,we can clearly understand the way of newspaper reporting the event and the communication form of music activities between China and the Soviet Union in this period.The third part,Chapter 2,is a longitudinal overview of the newspaper coverage of the philharmonic society,the journey of the performance,the feedback and the photographs of the performance.According to the historical development of the context of the newspaper published in the music exchange of historical materials are described.The chronological continuity of newspaper coverage is one of the strengths of newspaper history.It can clearly understand the historical development of music exchange in Harbin during this period and the process of its development by combing the reports of music performance from the longitudinal time sequence.After sorting the information published in newspapers,the author divides Sino-Soviet music exchanges into three periods.Initial period,from 1947 to 1950,saw the starting and primary development of music exchanges between the two countries.Climatic period,from 1955 to 1960,witnessed the largest number and scale music exchanges.During this period,music was moving towards a more specialized direction,and a large number of Soviet music groups began to tour in China,such as the USSR State Symphony Orchestra,folk bands of USSR Kazakhstan,etc.And it was over the fading period,from 1961 to 1962,that music exchanges between the two countries gradually reduced.The last part is the third chapter,in which the cultural value reflected in the music historical materials published in the newspaper is expounded in combination with the previous horizontal and longitudinal analysis.For one thing,such music exchanges broadened the vision of Harbin people and eased their suspicion on the Soviet Union,which can be classified as the value that newspaper historical materials themselves carry;for another,they carried forward the tradition of Harbin overseas Russian music culture and formed a diversified music culture of the city,which can be regarded as the extended value beyond news. |
