This translation practice report is a C-E translation task commissioned by Yunnan Xishuangbanna Primeval Forest Park tourism project development department during the internship,which is aim to train the vast number of tour guides in the park with foreign tour groups to expand the industry scale and improve the quality of service,so as to enhance Xishuangbanna Primeval Forest Park foreign tour projects,the development of tourism development and expansion of economic growth points.The translation of the original is by the park project department head Du Fangying,who led the project staff according to the project requirements and planning compiled out,the author is responsible for the translation of the first half of the total of about Chinese 16,000 words of translation tasks.The whole translation process lasts about four months.Referring to the German functional translation theory,this translation practice report very much recognize the guidance and importance of translation skopos theory in the whole process of translation practice.under the guidance of Skopos translation,this translation practice report consists in five parts,that is,the first part,the description of the task;the second part,translation description;the third part,preview of Skopos Theory;the fourth part,translation under the guidance of Skopos Theory;the fifth part,the summary part.Skopos theory is the most important theory of German functional translation theory.One of the most important concepts is the purpose of translation,which usually refers to the communicativeSkopostheories originated from German translation function theory.The purpose of translation is very important.It usually refers to the purpose of communication in translation.According to the theory of purpose,the first principle followed by all translations is the“Skopos principle”,and the whole process of translation depends on the purpose of translation.The dual characteristics of the tourist commentary,word and the informative text and the vocative text,the author chose three commonly used translation methods with the purpose of translation,literal translation,transliteration,and restructuring,omission,inversion,addition and consolidation as the main strategies.In the whole process of translation,the author found that the Skopos theory in the processing of tourism materials in the cultural factors,in the process of translation can deliver local cultural content to customers reasonably and accurately,can make English-speaking tourists obtain effective cultural information more quickly and accurately,easier to understand the cultural background of the park,can improve the quality of translation and translation credibility to a certain extent.
