Peking Opera Oid Dan Li(Jinquan) School Of Performing Arts Characteristics

Chinese opera is a highly stylized and comprehensive art with a long history.After a long period of gestation,generation,development and maturity,it has gradually formed a performance system with "comprehensive,virtual and stylized" as the basic characteristics.In the long river of history,opera has been accompanying the lives of Chinese people,and in the process of making Chinese traditional spirit and charm infiltrate into it.It can be said that opera is an important part of China’s excellent traditional culture.Although Lao Dan is an indispensable profession in opera,in the development history of Peking Opera art,the emergence,formation and development of Lao Dan as an independent profession are later than Xusheng,Qingyi,Huahua and other industries.In the early Peking Opera,there was no full-time Lao Dan actors,mostly performed by old or ugly actors.Through the careful creation of our ancestors,we constantly improved,and finally formed an independent profession,and had an increasingly important position in Peking Opera art,and gradually formed an independent art school.As one of the representative figures of Peking Opera Lao Dan,his new Li(Jinquan)school is very important on the development ladder of Peking Opera Lao Dan art.If the formation of the Gong(Yunfu)faction symbolizes the path of Lao Dan art becoming independent and mature;the emergence of the Li(Duokui)school marks the new ladder of the development;the new Li(Jinquan)school symbolizes the opening of the development of Lao Dan art.The new situation of Lao Dan’s art created by Mr.Li Jinquan has brought a large number of new force to Lao Dan.The rise of these batch of forces has brought epoch-making transformation to the development history of the old Dan industry of Peking Opera,and makes the old Dan line regarded as another stronger foot color industry after Xusheng,Danjiao and Qingjiao.This article takes the two plays in the author’s special performance as the topic selection and discussion object of the paper,through the case analysis of the two "new Li school" plays "Li Kui" and "banquet",and studies the characteristics of the old Peking Opera Dan.
