The Study On Nirvana Image In Kizil Grottoes

The image of Nirvana in the Kizil Grottoes plays an important role in Buddhist art.It is an important part of my country’s multi-ethnic culture,and it also occupies an important position in Eastern and Western cultures.Due to its geographical location and the influence of its political,economic and cultural factors,it has created its unique image of Nirvana.The high art,deep foundation,and rich content make us linger.This article mainly takes the Nirvana image in the Kizil Grottoes as the research object,starting from the Nirvana image for excavation and research.The first chapter starts from the concept of Buddhist Nirvana,gives an overview of the concept of Buddhist Nirvana,then analyzes the images it contains,and combines Buddhist writings with it as a text to trace the image of Nirvana images in the Kizil Grottoes;The second chapter starts with the subject matter content of the Nirvana images in the Kizil Grottoes,and combines the classic Buddhist pictures and texts to compare the Nirvana images in the Kizil Grottoes in the four stages of inception,development,prosperity,and decline.The evolution of the subject matter of the image is analyzed;Chapter 3 achieves the formal characteristics of the Nirvana image in the Kizil Grottoes through the composition characteristics of the different positions of the Nirvana image in the entire cave space and the artistic emotional characteristics expressed by the Nirvana image in the space.The fourth chapter compares the image features of different styles of Kizil’s Nirvana image and Dunhuang’s Nirvana image in terms of spatial layout,subject matter content,and the same subject matter.The characteristics of Nirvana image are considered and extended;Chapter 5 analyzes the value of Nirvana image in Buddhism,its historical and cultural value as well as its emotional,aesthetic modeling and other artistic values to achieve Nirvana.The overall study of the image.
