Spring Festival couplets contain the excellent cultural tradition of the Chinese nation and are an important carrier for the international promotion of Chinese.Guiding foreign students with middle and senior Chinese language level to appreciate Spring Festival couplets can enrich their learning experience and help them to understand and master Chinese characters.and the understanding of Chinese culture.First of all,from the perspective of Chinese culture,the author uses the method of physical image analysis to collect,classify and sort out the Spring Festival couplets that can be appreciated by intermediate and advanced Chinese students,and then combine with the reality of Chinese teaching.the materials are divided into four aspects: "text,form,interest and beauty" for teaching and research.Then the contents of the above four aspects are explained and analyzed in detail.among them,"appreciation of text" focuses on the text understanding and cultural connotation contained in the works of Spring Festival couplets;"appreciation of shape" focuses on the text configuration and book form presented in the works of Spring Festival couplets;"appreciation of interest" focuses on the analysis of the sensible interest and life interest behind the text of Spring Festival couplets."appreciation of beauty" is discussed from two aspects: aesthetic perception and aesthetic improvement.Furthermore,aiming at the middle and senior Chinese students,using the relevant professional theories such as input hypothesis,cognitive discovery,"tower of experience",humanistic psychology and so on,This paper makes an exploratory research from the aspects of teaching goal,teaching content,teaching implementation and teaching design,and puts forward the idea of appreciation teaching of calligraphy works of Spring Festival couplets centered on "literature,shape,interest and beauty".Finally,the conceptual design is put into practice,and suggestions are put forward for teachers and learners according to feedback and comprehensive analysis.Among them,for teachers,the selection of teaching content appreciated by Spring Festival couplets should be based on real corpus,based on learning situation and practical;teaching design should pay attention to interest,diversity and flexibility;teaching strategies should pay attention to "learning in fun" and "targeted".As far as learners are concerned,students should actively participate and experience the atmosphere;enhance the contrast,explore the similarities and differences;delve into the study and explore the origin.This study attempts to guide the middle and senior Chinese students to appreciate the calliraphy works of Spring Festival couplets from different angles,so as to deepen students’ understanding of Chinese characters and their perception of Chinese culture.
