Study On The Present Situation And Improvement Of The Frailty Of The Elderly

At present,the problem of population aging in China is becoming more and more serious.With the acceleration of the aging process,the incidence of frailty of the elderly increases,which leads to disability,comorbidity and so on,which brings great burden to families and society.At present,we pay great attention to the frailty of the elderly,and the focus has gradually expanded from physical weakness to mental weakness,social weakness,etc.It is the focus of our research to understand the current situation of the frailty of the elderly and how to intervene to improve and slow down the frailty of the elderly.Previous studies have shown that social support and aging attitude have certain effects on the aging of the elderly,and the lower the incidence of aging of the elderly with high social support level,and the social support also improves the elderly’s cognition of aging;The more positive the aging attitude of the elderly is,the less likely it is to be weak,and the negative aging attitude will have a bad influence on the weakness;Social support also has influence on aging attitude to some extent.Based on previous studies,this study will explore how the social support and aging attitude of the elderly have an impact on the debilitation,and put forward targeted measures to improve the debilitation according to the research results.In this study,500 elderly people were investigated by questionnaire,and the social support scale,aging attitude scale and Chinese version of tilburg debilitation index were used as measuring tools to explore the relationship among social support,aging attitude and debilitation by using statistical methods such as correlation analysis and intermediary test.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The elderly have a high incidence of frailty,and nearly half of the elderly in thi s study have reached the frailty level;There were differences in sex grade and age of fra ilty.Marital status,educational level,personal monthly income,sleep problems,types of diseases and self-reported health of the elderly also have significant differences in fissi on and various dimensions.(2)There was a significant negative correlation between frailty and social support,and there was also a significant negative correlation between frailty and attitudes toward aging,and a significant positive correlation between social support and attitudes toward aging;Aging attitude had a partial mediating effect on social support and frailty.(3)The improvement scheme based on the weakness of the elderly has a certain ef fect on delaying the weakness.This study investigated the current situation of weakness in the elderly,and discuss ed the relationship between social support,aging attitude and weakness of the elderly.T his paper extends the previous research attention to weakness from the physical to psych ological,social and other aspects,enriches the relevant theories,and provides the corres ponding programs for improving the weakening situation of the elderly.
