Educational practice is a very important part of a teacher’s career.It is also an important part of the practical ability of an intern and the beginning of a teacher’s career.During the period of educational practice,internship teachers will face the challenging roles of teachers and their own roles of college students,which are expected by all aspects of the role.Internship teachers switch between the roles of teachers and students frequently.They need to adjust themselves according to the role requirements to adapt to the role transformation of "students and teachers",so as to achieve different role expectations.If the role transformation can not be completed smoothly,it will often fall into a dilemma,which has a negative impact on the development of teachers’ professionalization.Now,there are not many research on the role transformation in the academic circle,especially on the role transformation of English Majors in the educational practice.This research has theoretical and practical significance for the problems related to the role transformation in the educational practice.The role transformation of English internship teachers is faced with the transformation from "students" to "English teachers".It is not only the transformation of students in school to a social professional,but also the transformation of students in school to understand their new role orientation,adjust their role behavior,and then meet the social expectations of this role.Based on the theory of role transformation,this paper discusses the difficulties encountered by English students from four aspects: role ability transformation,role psychology transformation,interpersonal relationship adaptation and role cognition.This paper analyzes the reasons for the dilemma of role transformation from the limitations of the role of the intern teachers,such as their subjectivity,duality,contradiction and other external environments such as normal colleges and middle schools.Based on the practical situation of English teaching practice,this paper puts forward some suggestions from normal colleges,middle schools,interns and social subjects: connecting theory and practice,strengthening the training of teachers’ role ability;strengthening psychological adjustment and adaptation,making psychological preparation for role;actively adapting to the new environment,communicating with the guidance teachers,middle school students and parents of practice base;following the society Standardize and improve the level of role cognition.In order to provide a reference for the practice of English education and promote the role transformation.
