Sichuan Qingyin is a kind of rap music popular in different parts of Sichuan, which emerged as a kind of popular literature to meet the public class’ s cultural needs at that time.It is a combination of singing and lyric singing. This paper composes a theoretical study of the Sichuan Qingyin cantos, analyzing the linguistic basis of the relationship between the cantos, the structure of the cantos, their historical evolution, their emotional expression, and the meaning of the cantos. After the theoretical foundation is laid, the theory of Sichuan Qing Yin cadences will be explored in the works’ context. The main focus is on the single song structure of Sichuan Qingyin, using a tune called "flowers tune" in "minor" by artists as a guide, and the performance of the famous Sichuan Qingyin performer Li Yueqiu as an example. The study of Li Yueqiu’s performance is based on a case study of the performance context, the condensation of performance themes, the analysis of performance theories, and the results and evaluation of his performance.Through the study and analysis of the historical development of the Sichuan Qingyin art form and the relationship between the cadences and the lyrics, combined with the classic case of "The Cuckoo Bird Cooing," the study of the music of the Shu culture is enriched to a certain extent, which can help the practitioners concerned to understand more quickly the relevant knowledge of Sichuan Qingyin, provide theoretical support for its performance, and help to promote the development of local folk vocal music at present.
