Research On The Color Of Su TianCi Imagery Oil Painting

Su Tian Ci(1922-2006)is a famous oil painter and art educator in contemporary China and professor of Nanjing Academy of art.He devoted his life to the exploration of the integration of Chinese and Western painting.His works consciously use oil painting techniques to express the spirit and humanistic connotation of Chinese traditional art.In the artistic language of color,he tries to find a unique expression of personal style,which makes the picture have the artistic conception of Jiangnan style,lyricism and clarity.Su Tian Ci is recognized as an important representative of Chinese image oil painting artists.Based on the collection and arrangement of his works of landscape paintings of Jiangnan theme in the middle and late period,i.e.the mature style,this paper chooses color as the starting point of study,and discusses the phased characteristics of the color of the picture and the artistic conception presentation associated with it in detail.On this basis,the paper further explains the internal reasons for the formation of color style in the image oil painting works of Su Tian Ci,namely the edification of traditional Chinese cultural environment and the nourishment of unique human art essence.The author will apply the theoretical research results of the artist’s life,work realm,color and its formation reasons to the guidance of graduation creation: on the one hand,I will learn the painting color technique from Su Tian Ci,try to improve and enrich the level and method of expression of color language;on the other hand,I will realize the unremitting efforts and efforts of the artists of the ancestors on the road of integration of Chinese and Western painting art and the middle The inheritance and persistence of the traditional Chinese art spirit.
