Shadow play is one of the traditional Chinese folk cultural and artistic forms.With the rapid development of network and multimedia,shadow play,as a complex audio-visual performing art operated by artists,is gradually fading out of our lives.Shadow play is one of the oldest folk arts of the Chinese nation,but it has not been fully inherited and carried forward.In order to better inherit the shadow play,the physical shadow play is gradually transformed into digital shadow play for preservation.Compared with physical shadow play,digital shadow play has the advantages of simple production,easy storage and easy dissemination,which adds new vitality to the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.In recent years,digital shadow play has gradually achieved a series of breakthrough research results,and people can experience the fun of traditional shadow play by using computer technology.Digital shadow play integrates a variety of disciplines,including graphic design,animation production,post-synthesis,virtual reality,human-computer interaction and other fields.Since its development,digital shadow play has become more common,so it is necessary to continue to innovate ways to make shadow play alive again.At present,the research on digital shadow play in China still stays on the performance platform of touch technology and the digital museum of shadow play.The satisfaction of public demand is slightly lacking,the content is lacking in novelty,and the public acceptance is not high.In this paper,based on the development of digital shadow play,combined with motion recognition technology,a new creation of shadow play is made.Through the study of traditional shadow play and the understanding of video characters,this paper analyzes the modeling design methods and designs the modeling of digital shadow play of related characters.Using motion recognition to extract three-dimensional motion in video,combining with the motion characteristics and motion rules of traditional shadow play,Laban motion analysis method is used to make the recognized motion vivid and readjust,and then it is used in bone animation production of two-dimensional digital shadow play.After that,this method is designed and verified,which enriches the form and content of digital shadow play,enhances the transmission and inheritance of traditional shadow play,is a re-innovation of traditional shadow play and digital shadow play,and is also an important step for digital shadow play to interact with virtual reality.Guided by the action recognition of characters in videos,this paper studies how to transform 3D actions into 2D shadow play actions,and discusses the connection points between people and traditional shadow play art and digital shadow play animation,which lays an innovative foundation for the design of digital shadow play actions and the dynamic capture of human-computer interaction,and also provides new ideas for the inheritance and innovation of traditional shadow play.Finally,the feasibility is proved by a design example.
