| As a complex of traditional culture and art,the development of Chinese calligraphy has a driving force.With the development of calligraphy in Ming and Qing Dynasties,its artistic vitality has evolved from calligraphy style to aesthetic trend and then to the development of calligraphic groups.Especially in the middle of Ming Dynasty,calligraphers’ groups headed by Wumen calligraphers became the main force in the development of calligraphy in Ming Dynasty.The Wang Chong discussed in this paper is the unique representative of Wumen calligraphers,and the study of Wang Chong is also an indispensable existence in the study of calligraphy history in Ming Dynasty.Wang Chong can show elegance in Wen Zhiming’s "rules",Zhu Yunming’s "childish interest" and Chen Chun’s "crazy waves",which makes the cursive script in Ming Dynasty enjoy a clear and elegant aesthetic enjoyment.However,few people have studied such a unique cursive script style.Therefore,this paper takes Wang Chong’s cursive script style as the research subject,investigates the origin and end of its calligraphy style,and clarifies its exquisite calligraphy and its heir ring. |
