| Psychedelic style is one of the current popular illustration styles.The bright-dazzling colors and strong visual contrast in the picture are reminiscent of the popular psychedelic rock music and posters of the 1960 s.This research first provides an overview of psychedelic illustrations.It summarizes the visual characteristics of psychedelic art and traces the source of psychedelic style by combing the origin of psychedelic art in the1960 s and related visual art works.Then it analyzes the influence of psychedelic style on digital illustrations,and summarizes the common visual language used in digital psychedelic illustrations.There is continuity in color between visual works of psychedelic art and digital psychedelic illustrations.Based on the phenomenon that the objective and subjective content of color are intertwined in creation,this research puts forward the concept of semi-subjective color.the study analyzes the light and color expression in painting art and the visual perception in natural science,and verify the impact of objectivity,subjectivity,expressiveness and symbolism of semi-subjective colors in creation through experiments.The influence of semi-subjective colors on psychedelic illustrations is mainly reflected in three aspects: style shaping,emotional expression and spiritual communication.The core of the exploration of psychedelic illustrations is people’s thinking about self-identity in different times and the constant loss in new environments.Semi-subjective colors establish an aesthetic connection between the creator and the audience,and realize the transmission of emotional power and spiritual connotation.Combining the content of the research,the psychedelic style is applied to the creation of three-dimensional digital illustration,to explore the color application and expression form of the psychedelic illustration,and provide a reference for the psychedelic style in digital illustration creation and theoretical research. |
