A Report On Medical Papers Translation Under The Guidance Of Text Typology

At present,COVID-19 is raging around the world.COVID-19 is an acute respiratory infection,which causes severe lung damage in severe and critically ill patients.Some patients may not be able to completely repair the disease,leaving pulmonary fibrosis lesions.Therefore,the study of pulmonary fibrosis is of great significance.The translation of papers related to pulmonary fibrosis is important for strengthening academic exchanges on COVID-19 and promoting the development of world medicine.This paper analyzes and discusses the translation of two medical papers related to the study of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.The translator takes full advantage of text typology,including the strategies of semantic translation and communicative translation in the translation process.Meanwhile,the translator employs translation techniques such as literal translation,addition,conversion and restructuring,so as to make the translation fluent,objective and accurate,and conform to the characteristics of medical papers.The paper gives a brief overview of the translation project.In the process of translation,the translator has done a lot of pre-translation preparation,learning relevant medical knowledge with the help of medical books and translation tools,seeking guidance from professionals,and careful post-translation proofreading.Under the guidance of text typology and through a large number of case analysis,this paper studies the translation of medical papers from lexical level and syntactic level,and analyzes the translation strategies and techniques that can be adopted in the Chinese translation of medical papers.The purpose of this paper is to provide reference and research materials for medical translation so as to promote the exchange and learning of clinical trials and therapeutic outcomes of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.Figure 0;Table 0;Reference 30...
