Study On The Construction Of Yangzhou City Image In Film And Television Dramas

City image is not only the reflection of the overall characteristics and style of a city,but also people’s subjective impression of a city.It is the result of the joint action of many factors,such as mass media,personal experience,interpersonal communication,text memory and so on.In the media society,the city media image is more important than the city itself.As a media form with great communication power,the urban image constructed by film and television drama shows the characteristics of "imagining the city",but it has also become an important aspect of people’s cognition of the urban image to some extent.Yangzhou,with a long history,prosperous commerce and developed culture,is the shooting place of many film and television dramas and the content of film and television drama narration.Therefore,the Yangzhou city image constructed by film and television dramas has become an important part of Yangzhou media image,affecting people’s imagination and cognition of Yangzhou City image,as well as the construction and dissemination of modern Yangzhou city image.Taking 39 TV dramas and 11 films representing the image of Yangzhou City as the research object,this paper analyzes the image of Yangzhou City presented by film and television dramas and the methods of presenting Yangzhou city image by using the theories and methods of text analysis,semiotics and narratology,comprehensively analyzes the existing problems in the construction of Yangzhou city image by film and television dramas,and puts forward some suggestions on the construction of Yangzhou city image film and television dramas.The details are as follows:The first chapter is the image of Yangzhou city constructed in film and television dramas.Through the analysis of "scenes","characters" and "events" in the narration of film and television dramas,it is considered that the image of Yangzhou City in film and television dramas is mainly manifested in the image characteristics of commercial city and cultural city.The second chapter is the construction method of Yangzhou city image in film and television dramas.The city image of Yangzhou commercial city and cultural city in film and television plays is the result of the construction with the help of intertextual expression,the use of symbolic representation of film and television plays and the use of narrative methods.The third chapter is the problems and suggestions of Yangzhou city image construction in film and television dramas.Through the comprehensive analysis of Yangzhou city image in film and television dramas,this paper believes that there is a deviation between"imaginary Yangzhou" and real Yangzhou in film and television dramas,there is a modern aphasia in Yangzhou city image in film and television dramas,and the stereotyped image of Yangzhou formed by the patterning of urban narration in film and television dramas,and puts forward that on the basis of scientifically and accurately "positioning" Yangzhou city image,through the formulation of policies The government funds or guides the shaping of the city image of film and television dramas and provides intertextual texts for the production of Yangzhou image of film and television dramas with the help of integrated marketing communication,so as to promote the breadth and depth of the construction of Yangzhou city image film and television dramas.
