Through research methods such as questionnaires,teacher interviews,classroom observations,etc.,a comprehensive investigation and analysis of Chinese teachers and learners in Wapibathum Vocational and Technical College and other vocational schools in Thailand.There are some problems in Chinese teaching in Thai vocational schools: at the school management level,the syllabus is not clear,the teaching materials are not properly arranged,the courses or activities related to Chinese culture are lacking,the hardware resources such as multimedia equipment are lacking,and the curriculum arrangement for HSK is not enough;in terms of teacher teaching,the medium of instruction is insufficient,and classroom teaching The method is single,and an effective teaching assessment mechanism has not been established.In terms of student learning,the classroom atmosphere is extremely extreme,lacks learning motivation,and is not interested in Chinese.In response to existing problems,Thai vocational schools can adopt some targeted teaching strategies in Chinese teaching: at the school level,formulate a clear and feasible syllabus,select suitable textbooks,appropriately adjust courses according to different needs,and carry out various forms of cultural activities;at the teacher level,improve the classroom teaching language,increase the diversity of teaching methods,establish a practical evaluation and feedback mechanism;at the student level,cultivate interest in learning Chinese,strictly abide by the rules of the Chinese classroom,and formulate clear learning Target.These teaching suggestions can provide useful references for the development of Chinese teaching in Thai vocational schools.
