Research On Electronic Music Creation Of Science Fiction Films

Electronic music was born in the 1930 s,after cross century development,the inheritance of many composers,has been vibrant,producing many new application schools.During this period,film composers tried to apply electronic music to science fiction films,and achieved unexpected results.Then this new music form was constantly improved and gradually prospered.Nowadays,electronic music has become an important sound element in science fiction film soundtrack.With the progress of computer technology and the continuous improvement of electronic music creation concept,more and more science fiction film soundtracks are integrated into electronic music content.Composer Hans Zimmer highlights his electronic music style in science fiction movies with his mature music control ability.He constantly tries new music language,explores different creative ways,and completes classic movie soundtracks one after another.Based on the in-depth analysis of the application of electronic music elements in the three films,this paper comprehensively discusses the embodiment of electronic music creation techniques and creative ideas in science fiction film soundtrack,and studies the effect of combining with the film screen.This paper is divided into four parts.1、 This paper expounds the development of electronic music,the characteristics of science fiction film,and discusses the relationship between electronic music and science fiction film soundtrack,as the bedding of this paper.2、This paper discusses the choice of sound materials in science fiction films.Including conventional music materials,original musical instrument materials and non natural materials.It is an important chapter of this paper.3、This paper discusses the electronic processing of sound materials in science fiction films.It includes explicit processing,implicit processing,imitation processing and mixed processing.Taking Hans Zimmer’s works as an example,this paper studies the application of electronic music in science fiction movies from the technical level,which is an important chapter of this paper.4、This paper discusses the creation concept of electronic music vocabulary in science fiction movies.Through Hans Zimmer’s works,this paper studies the electronic music in science fiction films from the creative level,including the minimalism concept,rhythm first concept,sound body concept and so on.As the further analysis of this paper.
