The Application Of Regional Culture In Urban Sculpture Creation

With the rapid development of globalization and economy,contemporary urban sculpture construction has problems such as lack of regional culture,lack of creative theme and insufficient integration of surrounding landscape environment.In this context,this article draws on the research results at home and abroad to make a systematic research summary on the application of regional culture in urban sculpture.This paper selects the urban sculpture design of Changzhi Xingfu Park as an empirical application case,and explores the creation and design method of urban sculpture based on the regional culture of Changzhi.I start my research from the following aspects:(1)Through combing the status quo of domestic and foreign sculptures,starting from the works and literatures of domestic and foreign urban sculptures,I found the current status and existing problems of domestic urban sculptures.It analyzes the problems existing in contemporary urban sculptures and the root causes of the problems.(2)From the perspective of regional culture,the method of case analysis and literature review was used to study the creation and design methods of urban sculpture under the background of regional culture,and the principles of application.(3)Then apply the urban sculpture design method based on regional culture to the practice of Changzhi Xingfu Park,which verifies the rationality of the proposed urban sculpture design method and design principles.Through the above research,combined with field surveys,literature review,case analysis,questionnaire surveys and other methods,the creation and design methods of urban sculptures based on the regional cultural background are explored,and the application methods and principles of Changzhi regional culture in urban sculptures are deeply analyzed.The inheritance and application of Changzhi regional culture provides a new way of thinking.The creation and design of urban sculpture should comprehensively consider its natural environmental factors and humanistic environmental factors,especially the cultural elements of historical celebrities in the humanistic environment,which play a positive role in the construction of urban sculpture regional culture.Therefore,the innovative application of inheriting regional culture in the creation of urban park sculptures is the focus of this topic.
