The Collection,Collation And Study On The Characters Of Changsha Kiln Porcelain In Tang And Five Dynasties

Changsha Kiln refers to a porcelain kiln located in the Wazhaping area of Shizhu near Tongguan Town,Changsha County,flourished in the Tang Dynasty and declined in the Five Dynasties.Because of the first-hand handwritten characters on the porcelains have not been tampered,it becomes the research object of this article.The first excavation of Changsha Kiln in the Tang and Five Dynasties was in the 1950 s.With the continuous excavation,the number of porcelains has been increasing,and the research results have been enriched.However,there is no systematic research on the use of inscriptions on porcelain.This article is divided into two parts to explain the writing and documentary value of the porcelain inscriptions of Changsha kiln in Tang and Five Dynasties.The first part is the research part of the characters used in the inscriptions of Changsha Kiln in the Tang and Five Dynasties.It is divided into four chapters to illustrate the glyph value of Changsha kiln’s inscriptions in the Tang and Five Dynasties.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explain basic information such as research materials,research status and significance,research ideas and methods.The second and third chapters focus on variant characters and the borrowing of characters on the porcelain of Changsha kiln.The fourth chapter discusses research value of the characters,which contains the value for contextual understanding,the study of the characters used in the Sui and Tang Dynasties,and the study of the culture of Chinese characters.The second part of this article show the documentary value of Changsha kiln’s inscriptions in the Tang and Five Dynasties.First of all,introduce the bascic information about the pooling proofreading of Changsha Kiln’s inscriptions in Tang and Five Dynasties,including the reasons,format,shortcomings and difficulties when we gathering pictures.Then use pictures and words to illustrate the using and the documentary value of Changsha kiln’s inscriptions.At the same time,we explain the characters that not depict in the first part with the considering that save the length of the first part.
