Art creation is a process in which artists observe,accumulate and refine life and express their inner feelings and personal reflections through artistic means.In the bustling city,people of all age have their own confusion and unspeakable emotion.In the process of growing up,with curiosity and confusion,fear and yearning for the unknown,we keep exploring and gradually realize that we are an independent individual,a small existence of a cosmic living being.The anxiety of moving from the ivory tower into the social,the desire of a space to be alone,and the struggle to find a way forward are common problems faced by young women like myself.For my graduation project,I set the theme of my work in the direction of the growth of young urban women.The creation process of the work is actually a record of the inner thinking of the creator.In the process of research,I adopted observation,experimentation and literature character materials and scenes of young urban women in the process of growing up with many emotions and confusions.This paper is divided into four parts,the first part is the theme of Growing Whisper,which explain why the author chose growth as the theme of graduation creation,and abroad who have created with the theme Theme of growing up.In the second part,the author explores the space and form of the Growing Whispers series,through the analysis and borrowing of Hopper and Balthus,and explores the spatial composition of the series.The third part is the creation process of Growing Whispers,detailing the drawing of small color drafts,the expression of period,and the exploration of picture painting techniques.The fourth part is the author’s summary of the creation process.
