The Application Of Traditional Culture In The Creation And Choreography Of Modern And Contemporary Dance Drama

By taking my own original dance drama Puppet as an example and combining my practical composing experiences,the paper mainly analyses the application of the marionette art,a kind of Quanzhou traditional culture,in the creating of modern and contemporary dance dramas in four aspects,namely,playwriting,characterization,action design as well as use of props and also describes how we can integrate modern innovation with traditional cultures so as to produce more wonderful art works that totally suit the aesthetic needs of modern people.
