Dunhuang culture is a brilliant pearl in the long river of world civilization,wellknown both domestically and internationally.The conventional teaching technique,however,continues to dominate the Dunhuang dance instruction approach.This master’s thesis proposes a digital Dunhuang dance,builds a virtual character model,and develops a human-computer interactive Dunhuang dance teaching demonstration system using optical motion capture technology.It provides a new way of learning Dunhuang dance and passing down Dunhuang culture.The main research work includes the following aspects:(1)As the main line of design and development,take the flying dance in Dunhuang dance as the research object,study the requirements of Dunhuang dance teaching and system functions,as well as the overall framework design of the system,and realize the feasibility verification of the prototype system;(2)Determine the movement set using the basic training of flying dance as the core,and preprocess the movement data using the Vicon 3D motion capture technology to produce 3d coordinate points of a professional dancer’s movement track;(3)Maya was used to build the basic role model based on the real dancer model.Neural fusion shape technology was used to complete the skeleton binding and skin weight adjustment of the model,and data fusion algorithm was used to realize the movement of the head,torso,limbs and fingers of the model driven by action data;(4)Applying Unity development environment combined with UGUI technology,embed Dunhuang dance 2d data(text and text,audio and video)and 3d data(virtual scenes and virtual characters)into the system.Complete the design of each system’s functional module,construct the Dunhuang Dance Teaching Demonstration System.To sum up,this master’s thesis collects movement data using motion capture technology,which enhances data processing efficiency and streamlines the character model construction procedure.At the same time,an unique dance teaching demonstration system with two-dimensional and three-dimensional environments is produced when paired with digital dance teaching mode.It breaks through the traditional teaching mode,which is constrained by time and distance along with offering new ideas for the innovation of Dunhuang dance digital teaching and inheritance of excellent culture.
