For two years,due to the influence of COVID-19,online teaching has become one of the teaching methods that are continuously developed and perfected in the field of international Chinese education.The increasing development and improvement of online teaching methods has played a positive role in promoting the research on Online Chinese teaching.In recent years,the academic community has studied the feasibility and adaptability of various teaching methods and teaching modes applied to online Chinese teaching,trying to make online teaching efficient and diversified.Since its introduction into China,mind mapping has been widely valued by the academic community.As early as a few years ago,some scholars have confirmed that mind mapping is an effective teaching tool.After applying mind mapping to the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,its teaching function and teaching effect have also been fully affirmed.However,the research on mind mapping and online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has not been fully carried out.Under this background,this paper will explore the possibility of applying mind mapping to online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Firstly,this paper collects and analyzes the connotation,function,production method of mind mapping and the relevant literature on its application in second language teaching.On this basis,it expounds the development,concept and basic characteristics of mind mapping,and summarizes the theoretical basis,types,functions and production methods of mind mapping;Secondly,the feasibility of applying mind mapping to online primary comprehensive course teaching is preliminarily analyzed,and then the advantages of its application in primary comprehensive course teaching are further explored.After analyzing the feasibility and advantages,this paper analyzes various teaching factors involved in the teaching design of primary Chinese comprehensive course;Thirdly,taking the two texts in the Chinese course as an example,the teaching design based on mind mapping is carried out;Finally,based on the teaching practice reflection of this teaching design and the comprehensive analysis of students’ investigation and test,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the rational use of mind map for teaching design.The drawing mode of mind mapping completely imitates the process of human thinking divergence.In the process of online teaching,it can greatly improve the online classroom learning atmosphere and students’ learning enthusiasm.At the same time,it is also consistent with the training goal of primary comprehensive courses.Therefore,it is hoped that by applying mind mapping to the overall design of online primary comprehensive courses,we can provide new ideas and help for online teaching of comprehensive courses.
