Investigation On The Cognition Of Common Action Verbs In Harbin Dialect By Foreigners In Harbin

When foreigners come to China to study and work,it is inevitable that they will have dialectal contact in the local area.Due to the large differences in regional cultures and dialects within China,it is difficult for foreigners in China to accurately understand the language expressions of people in dialect areas even if they have received systematic and standardized Chinese language instruction and learned standard Mandarin.Since the 1990 s,the academic community has been concerned about the learning of Chinese dialects by foreigners,and there has been much controversy over whether dialects should be included in the classroom for learning Chinese as a second language.As Lu Shuxiang says,"The reason why verbs are important is that in a sense they are the center,the core,the center of gravity of the sentence,and all other components are linked to it and attracted by it." As the central component of a sentence,the verb is of great importance.To speak a language well,it is necessary to master enough verbs,and action verbs are the simplest expressions that can be used to communicate with people other than gestures and body language.Therefore,in this study,we chose the action verbs in Harbin dialect as the object of study,and firstly,we identified 10 common action verbs in Harbin dialect by means of dictionary screening and field survey.We analyzed the foreigners’ emotional attitude toward Harbin dialect,the degree of influence of Harbin dialect on foreigners,and made corresponding suggestions for foreigners to learn action verbs in Harbin dialect according to the findings.The specific chapters are organized as follows.This paper is divided into the following parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which describes the purpose and significance of this study,the research method,the research content and the sources of the corpus,and provides a literature review of the existing related studies at home and abroad.Chapter 2 is an analysis and description of the common action verbs in Harbin dialect and their usage environment,which aims to lay a good foundation for Chapter 3,"A survey on the perception of common action verbs in Harbin dialect among foreigners in Harbin",and to facilitate the design of survey and interview questions based on the usage of common action verbs in Harbin dialect,as well as to facilitate the future study of foreigners in Harbin dialect.The third chapter is about the study of foreigners in Harbin.Chapter 3 is a survey and analysis of foreigners’ perception of common action verbs in Harbin dialect.The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of the survey to find out foreigners’ emotional attitudes and learning needs towards Harbin dialect vocabulary,as well as to examine foreigners’ ability to understand and use common action verbs in Harbin dialect,and to propose corresponding learning suggestions on this basis.Chapter 4 proposes suggestions for foreigners in Harbin to learn Harbin dialect based on the previous theoretical analysis.
