| The new crown epidemic swept through in early 2020,and online Chinese Courses have become the main form of teaching.In early February 2020,China Huawen Education Network launched the "Zhong Wen" teaching material live demonstration course of Jinan University Press.The author took this as the research object,combined with the theory of multimodal discourse analysis,and carried out analysis and research on it.Multimodal discourse is a phenomenon that uses the senses of hearing,vision,touch,etc.to communicate through language,pictures,voice and other symbolic resources.Based on the theory of Multimodal discourse analysis,the main questions studied in this article are as follows:(1)What are the differences and advantages and disadvantages of online Chinese Courses for Chinese children compared with traditional Courses?(2)What are the characteristics of teacher talk in online Chinese Courses for Chinese children?(3)In order to achieve the teaching goals,what modalities are generally used in teacher discourse?(4)What are the effects and influences of multi-modal symbol resources on online Chinese Courses? And put forward suggestions for the invocation of online Chinese teachers for Chinese children.The specific research is carried out from the following aspects: First,the author made a comparative analysis of online Chinese Courses for children and traditional Courses,and found out the unique features of online Chinese Courses for ethnic Chinese children.Then four video samples of the live demonstration class of "Zhong Wen" on the China Huawen Education Network were selected and recorded.Through the use of ELAN6.0 video analysis software to mark and record the use of multi-modal symbols in four selected online Chinese course videos,from the perspective of modal types,the characteristics and production of each modal in the video The teaching effect is summarized.Finally,a questionnaire was distributed to the ethnic Chinese children students who participated in the live broadcast.The results of the research show that the teachers in the sample all use multi-modal symbol resources in online Chinese Courses.Teachers can make classroom teaching more effective by selecting suitable modalities in different links.In addition,most students have a positive attitude towards teachers using multi-modality in online Chinese Courses.There are also differences in students’ preferences for modalities in different teaching links.The results of this research not only reflect the current application of multi-modal teaching theories in online Courses for Chinese children,but also provide some help for teachers to carry out online Chinese Courses for ethnic Chinese children in the future. |
