As a very influential musician in China,Sang Tong has made great achievements in the field of composition and music education,and has also promoted the development of China’s music industry to a certain extent.He integrated Western traditional major and minor harmonies with Chinese national modes,He uses the national pentatonic scale and the unique tone of piano to express the connotation of the work.He paid attention to the search for national style in music creation,and created many Chinese piano works.In the history of piano development,Sang Tong further promoted Chinese traditional music to the world.and his representative work is "Seven Songs on Inner Mongolia Folk Songs".Through the study of this suite,we can see that there is a very significant national character and epochal character in it,which has played a pivotal role in the innovation and development of the national piano music.This article takes "Seven Songs on the Theme of Inner Mongolia Folk Songs" as the analysis object.The whole article has three parts: one is to introduce Sang Tong’s life and works,the second is to explain his background and materials,and the third is to focus on exploring his characteristics and performance analysis,so as to have a deeper understanding of the author’s creative situation.Able to express musical emotion more accurately.
