Research On The Musical Language And Singing Art Of Disney Musical "Beauty And The Beast"

As a musical drama,the story is its main body,and the music,dance,lines and so on serve for drama.Music,as a part of musical performance,presents a kaleidoscopic musical style with the different content of drama.Similarly,Disney musicals are adapted from Disney animated films.They also show different musical styles with different themes and plot contents,and their varied musical styles also determine the unfixed singing styles in the play.This paper consists of two chapters and six sections.The first chapter will analyze the musical and selected vocal segments in terms of musical style and musical characteristics.The first section will examine its musical language from the perspective of the whole play.The second chapter mainly explores the singing characteristics.Similarly,the author selects two pieces of music characteristics in the first chapter for singing analysis.The author hopes that the research of this paper can help music learners and music lovers have a clearer understanding of the concept of Disney musicals,so as to carry out effective practice and improve their professional ability.
