The Research In The Two Chamber Music Compositions Of Xu Changjun

Xu Changjun is a composer with the mission of folk music creation in contemporary China,he is committed to the creation and exploration of national music,is good at skillfully integrating Western composition techniques with the thinking,language and style of Chinese music culture,and constantly seeks innovation,thus forming a unique musical language and creative characteristics.Regardless of the quantity and quality of his works,the innovation of technical techniques and the nationality of musical concepts,they all reflect the tolerance and integration of Chinese and Western music cultures,and have made remarkable achievements in Chinese music creation.The composition of the composer Xu Changjun’s chamber music is a microcosm of his creative ideas and creative techniques,especially the Yangqin Concerto "Phoenix Nodding"（string band version）studied in this paper and the Ruan Octet "Sword Instrument".In terms of theme selection,instrument arrangement,and the use of creative techniques,the composer Xu Changjun’s exquisite creative level and meticulous personal style are shown.The introduction summarizes the research status,research origins and research methods of this paper.The first point explains in detail the artistic life of composer Xu Changjun.Through the two levels of composers and works with the mission of "folk music creation as the mission",the composition and the work are gradually analyzed from shallow to deep,from the objective summary of the "background layer" to the detailed elaboration of the two chamber music works,and the source of the composer’s ideas is explained in terms of the use of creative skills in music creation,the presentation of personal style,and the embodiment of aesthetic ideas.The second and third points analyze and demonstrate the characteristics of the creative techniques of the two works.In view of the differences between the two works in terms of instrumentation techniques,creation years,work styles,creative concepts,etc.,different analysis procedures and analysis methods are adopted according to the characteristics of each work’s own connotation,different writing techniques and artistic styles at the time of creation,and targeted music analysis and research are carried out.The fourth point summarizes and refines the creative characteristics and significance of the two chamber music works.Taking the common parameters as the starting point,this part sorts out and refines the common creation characteristics of composers in chamber music creation,and peeks into the composer’s deep interpretation and contemporary interpretation of Chinese national culture from the two chamber music works,as well as the enlightening value of Chinese contemporary chamber music creation.The research in this paper focuses on the analysis of two representative chamber music works by composer Xu Changjun.On the basis of analyzing the creative characteristics of composers from multiple angles and at multiple levels,we refine the creative ideas and creative intentions of composer Xu Changjun,so as to strive to explain how composers can base themselves on the origin of national music in their creations,and present a masterpiece of chamber music with Chinese characteristics in a way that combines Chinese and Western styles and ancient and modern times,providing reference value for music creation and theoretical research in contemporary Chinese chamber music.
