This paper focuses on the expression techniques of absurd drama,and focuses on whether the integration and innovation of absurd techniques in realistic drama has feasibility and practical significance.Combined with practical works,this paper expounds the directing techniques in the process of directing the drama lifeline,highlights the deep thinking of human nature and enriches the stage expression of the drama.The article is divided into five parts:Introduction: through reading relevant books and documents,this paper analyzes the influence of absurd drama on Chinese contemporary drama creation,and expounds the current situation of the application of absurd techniques on the realistic stage.Thus,we can get the research significance and research value of adapting and rehearsing lifeline for how to enrich realistic drama.The first chapter: combs and summarizes the similarities and differences between absurd drama and realistic drama in terms of definition,drama characteristics and expression methods.The second chapter expounds the director’s conception,the text adaptation and the determination of the style,genre and theme of the whole play,combs the characters in the play,and analyzes the feasibility of absurd rehearsal of realistic drama.The third chapter expounds the director’s creative process,rehearses "lifeline" with absurd expression techniques,and reflects its stage innovation from the aspects of performance principle,stage scheduling,modeling design,rhythm control and so on.The fourth chapter expounds the research conclusions,and puts forward the research limitations and prospects of the use of absurd techniques in the realistic drama stage.
