| Driven by the country’s top-level strategy of "The Belt and Road Initiative",economic globalization and the current complex international environment of frequent Sino-Western conflicts, there is a strong demand for talents with international vision and language quality. In this context, young people need to learn practical English due to their need for quality improvement and employment anxiety. With the deepening of informationization in society,Internet terminals such as personal computers, smart tablets and cell phones are widely used, making the carrier of practical English education gradually shift to online, exploring the promising adult practical English mobile education market. However,in the face of severe homogeneous competition, the existing Spoken applications have ambiguous product positioning and many user experience problems, making it difficult to guide the target users to develop a sense of "immersion",resulting in a low continuance intention. To address the problem of low continuance intention, this thesis considers the Flow experience as a mediating factor and uses the Flow theory as a guide to explore the specific flow factor that stimulate users’ flow experience,so as to provide users with a more immersive and enjoyable learning experience by satisfying the flow factors and thus enhance users’ continuance intention.First, this thesis defines the concept, characteristics and target groups of spoken applications, and analyzes the current status of research on mind flow theory, and argues the feasibility and00 possible influencing factors of introducing mind flow experience theory into the design of spoken language learning applications. After that, user research was conducted on the target group-young people through questionnaire and interview method, and the elements of mind flow experience in terms of user characteristics, needs, pain points and user perspectives were extracted. After that,we validated the mediation model of specific factors of PAT dimensions-flow experience-continuance intention through empirical research to verify the mediation role of flow experience between specific factors and continuous use intention, and built a PAT model of flow experience of spoken application supported by data. The five elements of user experience model is introduced to translate the factors of flow experience into design performance, and design strategies are proposed. Finally, based on the design strategies triggered by the mind flow, the design optimization practice is carried out with "Openlanguage".This study introduces the flow theory into the design of spoken applications with the aim of increasing t continuance intention, constructs a flow experience triggering model for spoken applications, and provides a new research idea for the design theory research of spoken language learning online products. It enriches the theoretical research system of Internet learning product design based on the flow theory. |
