On Marcuse’s Aesthetic Thought In "the Liberation Of Nature"

Based on the context of modern western capitalist society,Marcuse launched complex criticism and exploration on natural and ecological issues,forming thoughts of "natural liberation" and "ecological liberation",which also contains rich aesthetic implications.Based on Marcuse’s discussion of "nature" and "natural liberation",this paper attempts to explore and elucidate the aesthetic implication and enlightenment of "natural liberation" thought.Marcuse’s "natural liberation" includes two dimensions:the liberation of external nature and the liberation of human nature.As an effective means and ally of human liberation,natural liberation plays an important role.Therefore,we must recognize and get rid of the compulsion and falsity of external existence environment,and re-establish the balance and harmonious relationship between internal nature and external nature,the first nature and the second nature.As an effective means and ally of human liberation,natural liberation plays an important role.Therefore,we must recognize and get rid of the compulsion and falsity of external existence environment,and re-establish the balance and harmonious relationship between internal nature and external nature,the first nature and the second nature.The liberation of human beings not only depends on the liberation of external nature,but also must profoundly change the basis of human nature,which is used by the dominance of aggression.Therefore,"political revolution" and "psychological revolution" are needed.In Marcuse’s view,art and aesthetics are rare and important resources of the "overall revolution",and the "natural liberation" is based on "aesthetic action with the intention of political intervention",and through "technical art" and aesthetic education,and so on,they are looking forward to and planning a new type of social civilization of peace,tranquility and freedom.Marcuse’s aesthetic thought of "natural liberation" provides poetic settlement and foreboding for the relationship between man and nature and between man and technology,which has certain reference,and enlightenment significance for the discourse construction of contemporary Chinese natural aesthetics and ecological aesthetics and the construction of ecological civilization.This paper is divided into five parts.Firstly,based on the severe ecological environment problems,the enhancement of ecological consciousness and the prominent significance of ecological construction,the introduction highlights the theoretical and practical significance of Marcuse’s aesthetic thought in "natural liberation",and summarizes and examines the research status of Marcuse’s aesthetic thought in "natural liberation".Secondly,the first chapter discusses the ideological resources of the formation of Marcuse’s aesthetic thought in "natural liberation",mainly involving the influence and inspiration of Heidegger,Marx,Freud and other people on Marcuse,and Marcuse’s transformation and reconstruction of them.Thirdly,the second chapter discussed " the basic implication of the esthetics thought in Marcuse’s " natural liberation,including but not limited to the wholeness of "natural alienation" criticism,the liberation of the natural or save,the liberation of man’s inner nature and eros,how art can promote the "natural liberation" and Marcuse’s predication and conception of "non-repressive civilization" or nature-liberated civilization,etc.Again,the third chapter discusses the influence,rationality and limitation of Marcuse’s aesthetic thought in "natural liberation",including its influence on ecological Marxism,its own growth potential and historical limitation.At the same time,the fourth chapter discusses the cross-cultural enlightenment significance of Marcuse’s aesthetic thought in "natural liberation",including the overcoming of ecological crisis,the construction of ecological civilization,the transformation and activation of traditional Chinese natural aesthetics,and the construction of contemporary Chinese aesthetic discourse（for example,ecological aesthetics discourse）.Finally,the conclusion briefly summarizes the main meaning of the paper,and reiterates the value and significance of this paper.
