Application Research On Innovative Design Of Baoxiang Flower Style In Tang Dynasty

Baoxiang flower pattern is one of the most representative patterns in Chinese traditional plant pattern.It was introduced into China with Buddhism,and it is a classic work integrating foreign culture and local culture.After years of polishing,it was quite popular in the Tang Dynasty.Symmetrical and balanced artistic beauty and rich and full shape make the Baoxiang flower pattern widely used in grottoes murals,bronze mirrors,gold and silver ware and other carriers,implying good luck and happiness,representing the ancestors’ yearning for a better life.Studying the art form of Baoxiang flower pattern in the Tang Dynasty,this paper excavates the suitable application form of Baoxiang flower pattern.The innovative techniques of graphic design are used to extract and transform the shape and color of Baoxiang flower patterns in the Tang Dynasty,and the visual elements are applied to the practical modern carrier of the audience in the art form of series patterns,and the theoretical basis and design ideas in the early stage are specifically practiced in the innovative design.With the rise of cultural creativity,the innovative design practice of plant pattern not only inherits the excellent traditional Chinese culture,but also expands the development space of Baoxiang flower pattern,adapting to the aesthetic needs of the new era on the basis of carrying forward the excellent traditional culture.Based on this,this paper takes the artistic expression form of Baoxiang flower pattern as the entry point to show the unique charm of Chinese excellent traditional culture in the way of cultural and creative products.
