Research On The Modeling Characteristics Of Nuotang Opera Masks In Guizhou

Nuo,in its original form,is a kind of primitive witchcraft activities aimed at exorcising ghosts and pursuing of propitious life,which is a worldwide historical and cultural phenomenon.Folk art and cultural value of exorcising has thousands of years,are gems of Chinese national folk culture,Nuo culture,as an essential part of Chinese traditional culture is an important part of the main forms of development has experienced the Nuo instrument--the Nuo dance,to exorcising the specific process,in the developing process of the concrete,Nuo culture from the original simple,pure nature of religious worship,in the process of historical development,integrate some folk art,folk culture gradually developed into today’s unique religious and artistic combination of an exorcising is given priority to with performance properties.As the most important symbol of Nuo culture in China,the mask has unique cultural connotation and modeling characteristics.It reflects people’s ideas,beliefs and life ideals from different perspectives,and reflects the psychological characteristics and spiritual pursuit among different ethnic groups.This thesis under the background of the development of Nuo culture,first around on the Chinese communist party and Chinese origin and development of Nuo culture were analyzed,and discuss its historical evolution of Nuo culture and traditional cultural value,and then on this basis in GuiZhou folk Nuo culture,historical origin and classification of exorcising mask characteristic analysis,finally to focus on the study of GuiZhou folk exorcising mask modelling art.The modeling categories,color features,material selection and production process of its mask in Nuo opera are analyzed respectively,and the traditional religious consciousness,primitive totem worship and GuiZhou folk culture connotation reflected by the mask in GuiZhou folk opera are also deeply discussed.On this basis,the GuiZhou folk exorcising mask as an integral part of the traditional culture,analysis of its aesthetic implication exist together,which shows a"liquidity",bring people to the natural,social and religious understanding centralization and a big level,will be straightforward ferocious,rich and elegant,simple natural beauty is blended in among them,to bring more different for the researchers,the viewer’s enlightenment and inspiration.In order to make the information more detailed,in the middle of the thesis writing,went to GuiZhou AnShun,DouYun city SanDu County,ZunYi WuChuan County,TongRen,DeJiang County,field investigation,has carried on the on-the-spot investigation to exorcising mask in these areas,the local museum,library,comprehensive,deep comparison research literature monographs,summarized out some new ideas of this paper and the feasible path of sustainable development,contributing to the development of GuiZhou folk arts and crafts is the meager strength,let more people in GuiZhou folk exorcising face has a more profound understanding of,to its spread to every corner of the world,To show the outside world this unique traditional Chinese folk art and culture.
