With the rapid development of China's social economy,the development and utilization of copper mineral resources are increasing gradually,which makes the highgrade and easy to be processed and smelted decrease day by day.How to efficiently use the low-grade and high-sulfur copper ore has been paid more and more attention by the majority of mineral processing workers.The research object of this paper is Lancang high sulfur copper mine in Yunnan Province,which belongs to skarn type copper mine and belongs to the typical high-sulfur medium-low grade copper mine.In view of the characteristics of high sulfur and difficult separation of copper and sulfur in this ore,technical exploration and experimental research are carried out on this high sulfur copper ore,in order to achieve efficient utilization of this high sulfur copper ore,which has certain guiding significance for the industrial production of the same type of ore.The main valuable elements in this high-sulfur copper mine are copper,sulfur and associated element silver,of which the copper grade was 0.76%.The copper exists in the form of copper sulfide,mainly chalcopyrite,and there is almost no copper oxide content;The grade of silver was 30.18 g/t;The grade of sulfur was 23.86%,mainly in the form of pyrite.Gangue minerals were quartz,fluorite,serpentine,dolomite and calcite.In addition,the harmful impurity arsenic content in the ore was high,which was 0.23%Arsenic mainly exists in the form of arsenopyrite,which may affect the quality of the product.On the basis of the study on the properties of the raw ore,through the principle process of exploration test,it is determined that the priority flotation process is adopted,lime is added to the mill to adjust the slurry p H to 9?10,the tailings from the copper dressing process continue to process sulfur,and the new activator ANS-1 is used to obtain the copper concentrate with a copper grade of 20.41% and a recovery rate of 91.02%.Sulfur grade 47.24%,recovery 90.48% of sulfur concentrate.At the same time,silver was enriched in copper concentrate,and the silver recovery was 67.64%.The high-efficiency separation and comprehensive utilization of the high-sulfur copper ore were realized.Based on small laboratory tests,an extended continuous separation test was carried out.Through the closed process of copper selection "one roughing,three concentrating and secondary scavenging",copper tailings sulfur separation,"one roughing,one concentrating and secondary scanning",the middling ore is returned in turn,and the copper grade can be obtained 19.69%,and the recovery rate was 90.07%,The copper concentrate contains 0.34% arsenic;the sulfur grade in the sulfur concentrate was 48.58%,and the recovery rate was 89.08%.At the same time,silver has been enriched in copper concentrate,with a grade of up to 186.3g/t and a silver recovery rate of 62.46%.It provides technical guidance for the industrial production of this ore.
