Miao people do not have their own writing, and their cultural inheritance depends on oral transmission and images.Miao embroidery,as the main carrier of Miao people’s images, concentrates the myths, history and rituals of daily life.Scholars have made many wonderful explanations for the inheritance of Miao embroidery images. The mainstream view is that the inheritance logic is similar to "living fossil",which is the preservation of ancient civilization with relatively little change.Research of this paper through a special embroidered niang case, cobwebs, found in authentic miao image transmission spectrum,a more widespread type of "center carver" role, they in the center of the Miao Xiu image transmission, and in the role of this position will have the opportunity to also probably some personal image, embedded into the grand national image of inheritance vein.On the one hand, these "central plotters" shoulder the mission of inheriting and spreading traditional culture;on the other hand, they are constantly endowing new contents and intentions to traditional images and slowly creating new symbols.Through research, the author finds that the narrative model of "living fossil" may be more like a stereotype of traditional minority culture in line with modern romantic imagination, while the real inheritance situation of Miao embroidery images is closer to a model with mutation properties.
