Research On Outpatient Process Optimization Of X Hospital

With the continuous development of China’s economy and society,the people’s demand for medical and health services is increasing day by day.But at present,hospital outpatient service generally have the problems of complicated treatment process and long treatment time,that is,"three long and one short" phenomenon(Long time for registration,waiting consultation,and taking medicine,short time for doctors).The phenomenon has seriously affected the patient’s medical experience,and also led to inefficient operation of hospital outpatient services.In view of the above problems,this paper starts with the theory of process management and the BPI(Business Process Improvement),then proposes the principles and objectives of the hospital outpatient process improvement.Taking the X hospital outpatient process as the research object,combing and analyzing the current status and problems of the process.By applying BPI theory,using process program analysis,5W3 H analysis and ECRS principles,two optimization schemes based on process program analysis and building patient self-service are proposed.The program of process program analysis optimizes the existing 35 processes of the X hospital outpatient service to 18,and reduces the treatment time from 207.1 minutes to 100.8 minutes.The program of patient self-service optimizes the existing 35 processes of the X hospital outpatient service to 16,and reduces the treatment time from 207.1 minutes to 76.3 minutes.Finally,around the smooth implementation of the X hospital outpatient BPI,the management,functional and technical guarantee measures were proposed.The research of the paper believes that the BPI is very necessary to manage the hospital outpatient process.Use process program analysis and patient self-service to optimize the process of hospital outpatient service,can effectively solve the problems of complicated treatment process and long treatment time.
