Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Jianpiyiqihuazhuo Decoction combined with abdominal catgut embedding therapy on simple obesity caused spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction in adults,and to provide clinical basis for preventing and treating related complications caused by obesity and reducing the psychological and economic burden of obese people.Methods: From January 2020 to December 2020,60 obese women who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given diet and exercise therapy,while the observation group was given oral Chinese medicine plus abdominal catgut embedding therapy on the basis of routine diet and exercise guidance.The changes of body mass index after three courses of treatment were recorded for 14 days.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age and BMI between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).2.Body mass index comparison:the observation group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Overall curative effect comparison: after treatment,the cure rate of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion: For adults with simple obesity due to spleen deficiency and dampness resistance,Jianpiyihuazhuo Decoction combine with catgut embedding therapy can help reduce the body mass index of obese people,and has higher compliance,lower cost and no obvious adverse reaction,which is suitable for popularization and application.
