Research On Medical Ethics Education For Medical Workers In The New Era

The principal contradiction facing Chinese society has changed with the advent of new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Health has become the people’s ever-growing need for a better life.People’s health is the foundation of social civilization and progress,the important symbol of national prosperity and national strength,and the common pursuit of the general public,Xi said.Mankind is currently experiencing the most serious global public health emergency since World War II.The COVID-19 epidemic is still spreading all over the world.New disease spectrum,ecological environment and lifestyle have become the new variables.Moreover,the conflicts in the field of health care need to be resolved urgently.Medical ethics education will play a more and more important role as breaking the problem in the system and mechanism and deepening the medical reform have begun to enter the fortified and deep-water areas.“Healthy dream” in the new era is the premise of realizing the Chinese Dream.The affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities undertake many social responsibilities such as scientific research,teaching,medical treatment and prevention.In the context,studying and analyzing the present situation,existing problems and reasons of medical ethics education of affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities,and putting forward some countermeasures to enhance the quality of medical ethics education of medical workers,will contribute to improve the cultivation of medical ethics of medical workers,and to foster medical workers of new era serving the people wholeheartedly,which is also of great significance for realizing the Chinese Dream and the dream of health.In this paper,the concept and related theories of medical ethics education are summarized comprehensively,the essence,basic contradiction,and basic connotation of medical ethics education process,as well as the basic principles of medical ethics education are analyzed,and the aims and contents of medical ethics education for medical workers in the new era are planned.Based on the above analysis,by using synthetically the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire investigation and interview,with medical workers of 5 university affiliated hospitals in L province as the objects,four problems of the respondents’ personal data,cognition of medical ethics,understanding of the status quo of medical ethics education in their units and suggestions on medical ethics education are investigated and analyzed.Then the current situation of medical ethics education in affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities is summarized,and the existing outstanding problems and reasons are discussed in medical ethics education in affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities.Finally,aiming at the common problems of medical ethics education in the affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities,the suggestions for improving medical ethics education are proposed,which include strengthening the ideological foundation,enhancing the self-management,establishing the cooperative mechanism,innovating the organization mode,improving the supervision system,and perfecting the system of rewards and punishments.To sum up,this paper studies concretely the problem of medical ethics education in the affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities.The existing common problems of medical ethics education are found from a survey,the reasons of which are also analyzed.On the basis,some instructive and operable suggestions have been proposed,which is expected to play a certain guiding role in the construction of medical ethics education in affiliated hospitals of universities.
